The asTech Talk | June 2025

Issue 6 - June 2025

Welcome to The asTech Talk, your monthly source for business insights, product updates, and the latest happenings within asTech and the industry.

Tune In to July’s asTech Industry Pulse Webinar

Chief Executive Officer Srisu Subrahmanyam and Chief Transformation Officer Keith Crerar will be featured in our next asTech Industry Pulse webinar, “Driving What’s Next: A Conversation with Repairify’s New Leadership.”

In this candid conversation, they’ll share how a customer-first mindset is driving their approach to solving the real challenges shops face every day. As Srisu noted in a recent Autobody News article, Repairify is investing in workflow integrations, licensing, and partnerships designed to make diagnostic and calibration processes not just more accurate—but easier.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from Repairify’s new leadership team as they share their vision for a more efficient, connected future.

Vehicle Was Involved in a Collision Checkbox

This new feature prompts you to check or uncheck the Vehicle was involved in a collision on an adasThink work order. This gives you the ability to remove non-collision operations.

Reports History Now Available

Get a more complete picture with access to past reports! A new Report History section is now available at the bottom of each adasThink work order page—making it easier to view a vehicle’s report history and track changes over time. You'll also see a reminder banner if you're not viewing the most recent report.

It’s a simple yet powerful upgrade that boosts organization, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

asTech Calibration Solutions: Confidence at Every Turn

asTech offers a complete portfolio of calibration solutions—designed to help shops meet OEM standards, improve cycle time, and reduce liability. Whether in-shop or remote, our technology and expertise give you the flexibility and confidence to calibrate accurately, every time.

Dynamic calibrations are fast, simple, and mobile, using the asTech All-In-One or a supported device. No special setup is required—just your own roads—making them ideal for forward-facing camera adjustments post-collision. These calibrations are already built into your device and meet OEM standards.

Static calibrations require a controlled in-shop environment and physical target setup—perfect for high-end vehicles like Toyota, Honda, or Mercedes. They deliver precise, repeatable results and can be completed in-house or through our mobile tech network. All calibrations are documented to reduce liability and support compliance.

Remote OEM calibrations give you instant access to over 1,000 factory tools, powered by ASE and I-CAR certified technicians. Our experts guide your team step-by-step using OEM software, so you can tackle complex jobs without slowing down or overspending.

Finally, the asTech Rules Engine brings it all together—automating when to use OEM, OEM-Compatible, or remote calibrations based on your shop’s preferences, DRP relationships, and certification requirements. It’s built right into your All-In-One, so every scan is routed efficiently and compliantly.

For a more in-depth overview, watch last month's asTech Industry Pulse where our very own Andy Noyes and Michael Terry discuss the importance of proper calibrations and the calibration solutions asTech can provide your shop.

Wrapping up our DrivenToServe Initiative with Full Hearts

In recognition of May's Military Appreciation Month, asTech set out to give back up to $50,000 for maintenance and repair services for active-duty, retired, veterans and their spouses. We were honored to support an incredible group of service members along the way. From Army Captains and Colonels to active-duty Navy and Space Force, Air Force Lieutenant Colonels, Flight Officers, Marine and Coast Guard veterans, Master Sergeants, and so many more. It was a small gesture that we hope directly impacted their safety and peace of mind.

Supporting military members and their families across so many branches and roles has been deeply moving for all of us. We extend our gratitude to all service members, past and present, for their dedication and sacrifice.

It was also an incredible honor last month to partner with Defenders of Freedom, whose dedication over the past 20 years has made a meaningful impact on the lives of countless military members. We're proud to have worked alongside an organization so committed to supporting those who serve.
